2. Scope and legal basis
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Where the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation applies, processing is based in particular on your consent and on our legitimate interest in operating this website securely and reliably.
3. Visiting the website
When you access the landing page, technically necessary connection data may be processed. This can include your IP address, date and time of access, the requested page or file, referrer URL, browser, operating system and device information.
This information is used to operate the website securely, diagnose errors and protect it against misuse. It is retained only for as long as required for these purposes or by law.
4. Premiere and screening updates
When you register through the form, we process the following information:
- your email address,
- the time and status of your registration,
- the page you visited and, where transmitted by your browser, the referrer URL,
- your consent to receive information.
We use this information solely to send you a registration confirmation and updates about the world premiere, tickets and future screenings of LONG SHOT.
Your consent is voluntary. You may withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by emailing daniel@summitvisionmedia.ch. We will then delete or block your address unless legal retention requirements apply.
5. Google Workspace and Google Apps Script
We use Google Apps Script, Google Sheets and Gmail to process registrations. The information is stored in a non-public Google spreadsheet. Google services are also used to send automatic confirmations and internal summaries to the film team.
The service provider is, in particular, Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google and its subprocessors may process data in countries outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area, including the United States. Such transfers are made on the basis of the applicable legal safeguards and contractual protection mechanisms.
6. Font delivery via jsDelivr
To display the Mona Sans font, your browser loads a font file through the jsDelivr content delivery network. For technical reasons, this transmits information including your IP address to the CDN provider. jsDelivr uses additional infrastructure providers and may process data outside Switzerland.
7. Video, cookies and tracking
The background video and trailer are served directly from this website. The trailer starts only after you interact with it. The current landing page does not contain analytics, advertising or social-media tracking services.
Technically necessary cookies or similar storage may be created by the content-management or hosting system. If analytics, marketing or other external services are added later, this policy will be updated accordingly.
8. Recipients and access
Access to registrations is limited to people responsible for communications relating to LONG SHOT and to technical service providers where necessary for operation. We do not share data for unrelated advertising purposes and do not sell personal data.
9. Retention
We retain your registration data for as long as we use it to inform you about the world premiere and further screenings, or until you withdraw your consent. It will then be deleted or anonymised unless legal obligations or legitimate grounds require longer retention.
10. Your rights
Under applicable data-protection law, you may in particular request information about the personal data processed about you and ask for inaccurate information to be corrected or for data to be deleted. Where provided by law, you may object to processing, request restriction of processing or request certain data in a portable form.
Send your request to daniel@summitvisionmedia.ch. We may request reasonable proof of identity to prevent personal data from being disclosed to unauthorised persons.
11. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and unlawful alteration. However, completely risk-free transmission over the internet cannot be guaranteed.
12. Changes
We may update this privacy policy when the landing page, the services used or the legal framework changes. The version published on this website at the relevant time applies.
